Befuddled? Most Definately (TMI Warning)

Ok, so I was due my period on the 23rd of this month and lo and behold she arrived...i think! Now heres the befuddling part! The 'blood' was only there when I wiped except for the first day when there was a little in the toilet...now on my second day...I wore a Tampon expecting to be heavier like I usually do (wore the tampon because was visiting a newborn in hospital and didnt want the squelchy feeling iykwim (TMI)) Now on removal I always check...disgusting I know...but there was barely anything and still pinky brown...now I am on my 5th day and now is just a brown discharge..what does everyone else think should I get a test?

Normally my periods are excruciatingly painful...but I only had one episode of cramps and they were nothing like my normal ones.

I'veonly started getting periods back since January and they are just like this like blowing your knows after a nosebleedhas dried up just gross. Not sure what it is but you are not alone hopefully it's your

hmm some times i can get that too but eventually mine turn dark and i get sick!
maybe go for a test if you want to and if its then i would say you just had a good month period with no pain or anything!

IMO I think you should def test, especially since this has been going on for 6 days. If it was 1 or 2 days I'd say that's normal but 6 days is suspicious and if it were me (since that's not the norm for me), I'd def be testing. GL!

definatley do a test that doesnt sound normal at all..are you still bleeding?how many days did you have blood for?sometimes when i have a weird period i will get exactly as you described for 2-3days and then a full one arrives for 2 days and then the same very very light for another 2 and i wasnt preg..but i would definatley do a test!

Well, tested and BFN but if it was implantation thn may have been too early but I think was having a randomly weird period Gonna wait for next AF and carry on as normal I used a Superdrugs early response 10miu.

I got my period, much like you, very light. Only had to wear a pantyliner. And I was not pregnant. Think this just sometimes happens to our bodies, esp if you were on BC not too long ago.

Havent been on birth control for 17 months now and it seems....i am indeed pregnant! This test confirms it!! I must have ovulated late, got implantation bleeding when period was due and today two lines! But cautiously pregnant!

That's good to hear. I'm due AF on Saturday, but have been having brown spotting for 8 days now. HPT's have all been BFN so far. So maybe there's still a chance for me! Congrats on your BFP

Well I had ridiculously light 'bleeding' for 5 days, they say implantation will only last for 3days well obviously not, I hope you are, and it seems the don't try it will happen works, this month, I didn't chart, didn't symptom spot, didn't even time sex, we just had sex when we felt like it!

I'm all over the place... have joined the page 'CD1 on 1st April' as came on last night... but very strangely.. it seems to have gone this afternoon! .... although have strong cramps and all symptons.. was CD39 yesterday (when my cycle is normally 28 - 33 days)...so obviously late... have no idea when/if I ovulated... not helpful..... was relieved to have come on to be honest as hate this waiting game.. and would rather start from scratch then continue this unknown game...

....also - TMI here... but when I came on last night.. it was totally different to before... more like clear discharge with bloody stringy bits in it....sorry... not nice I know!...

Any ideas? ....

I bet ur pregnant, as that was my first day exactly like that, maybe u ovulated late or something!

Unfortunatly I don't think I am.. I last tested a couple of days ago..and I wasn't... the strangest thing though is a TERRIBLE outbreak of spots on my face (that have only just calmed down.. looked a like a spotty teenager!)....

Also, I tested on these dam ovulation sticks from day 7 - day 27 (and had a lot of sex during this time).. then stopped as my period pains started and I thought i was due on... also stopped the sex as a result.. so if I did ovulate later then this.. I wasn't having sex... all very confusing... unless I just missed the surge when I was testing.. (in the mornings which is wrong right.)....

..guess I need to relax.. and let nature take its course...

...also, goes to show that when you chill, it'll happen as with you.... none of my friends have had charts etc... and all of them fell quite quickly.. unfortunatly I'm a control freak! ....

Will keep you updated... perhaps I should do another test tonight.. just in case??

Yeah mornings are bad for ov testing good for pregnancy testing, but, if i was you i would wait a while longer, can last a while in the correct conditions, but wait and see how long your bleeding lasts and wait 4-5 days after it before testing, I did and got 2 lines, good luck and
