being pregnant and lazy

Ok i have read the first and last thread (to lazy to read the rest)

Just want to say that I would love to be good at this pregnancy lark but I am not. First pregnancy I thought i was being lazy taking advantage of being pregnant etc and thought that this time I have a daughter to look after so i will just have to get through it like the rest of the second time mums.
I have at 9 weeks realised that i am too "lazy" to look after my daughter whilst throwing up and being in pain so have spent the day trying to find her childcare/nanny. I really dont want to do this but I have too! Some people are just bad at being pregnant. Lucky for me I found a job with good benifits before all this, I havent worked a day for the last 20 months and very unlikly to work untill my current bump is 1 year old, yet they are still paying me full pay and will do untill then :-) Have a moan at that!

your screen name is perfect.

I know...for a split second I thought it was Minky playing games again! :winkwink: Then I realised that even Minky wouldn't be able to have created a new persona and then posted over a 1000 times!

I'm impressed by your initiative in checking sooootired out! If it weren't too much of an effort, I'd give you a medal!

So, anyone have any ideas on how I can get DH to pee for me? I just can't make it to the bathroom myself and even the effort of peeing is too much for me.

Oh come on! Let's be realistic ... he can't possibly pee for you. But here are 2 words for your DH as a solution to making you go to the bathroom yourself: Bottle service.

Too gross? lol!

sooooooooooooooo tired ladies am taking my preggo arse of to bed........mmmmmmmmmm wonder if DH could carry me up the stairs  Poor sod may just break his back!

Alright ladies, I now need a nap after catching up. I look away for 20 minutes and there are 10 new pages.. then 2 more are added just while I read the first 10 :haha:

Meanwhile, you guys are going to get me fired... nobody will believe that number crunching is funny enough for me to laugh out loud. And that will totally blow my cover as too tired to do my own work...

If you can think of a way for him to pee for me while he's at work and I'm at my work 30 miles away that would be even better. kthx!

Sheesh! Do we have to do everything! Get DH to come up with your solution. I'm incubating life here. And trying to hold in my own pee (please, no one make me laugh).

where is minky anyhoo?

wiiwidow, thats just not an excuse i would accept tbh, a root canal? bah humbug! one day of pain compared to the months of growing his baby you've already done?

he should be making you tea and food and snacks and giving you back rubs to help him with his pain....

Thank you...it was a real effort I must admit...I had to move my eyes to the right and have a look at the information underneath her name by the post. It did take it out of me, phew! I think I might have eye strain now

that one got me a dirty look from DH, apparently im not allowed to disturb him whilst he's watching a movie...

how many times do you reckon i can ask him for some orange squash before he gets annoyed at me do we think?

PMSL!!!!

There, problem solved... thanks ladies. Now I just need DH to bring me a clean pair of pants and put them on me at work. I don't think there is anything wrong with him missing an hour of work to do this for me.

nothing wrong with that at all, and maybe an absorbent pad for your chair?

its a leather chair, no absorbant pad needed :haha: We may need to have the carpet shampooed once in a while though

Phew...thank god the feet are already up - was getting worried for my health and safety then! Might have to arrange for OH to carry me upstairs in a minute though, it's passed my bed time now surely and I can't possibly take myself up there, not after all my efforts.

True story: I just called my eldest son in here, and said "would you please get my leftovers out of the fridge, put them on a plate, heat them in the microwave, bring them to me, cut each bite with a fork, and feed it to me?" He grinned and said "Yes mistress".

LOL I've got the best family -
