being pregnant and lazy

Surprise. DH is the same. Brings me bedside food every night, packs my work bag for me with crisps and juice. In seriousness he does everything when I'm pregnant except the washing and ironing. He's ill because he's spent the past 9 weeks working 37hrs a week on his feet, doing all the housework, cooking all the meals, taking care of our toddler before and after nursery, after Byron's asleep he washes up and cleans the kitchen. He's also managed to finish a novel, submit to a bunch of agents and publishers and pull together a bunch of US horror bands, artists and writers to create a horror comic anthology. He's something else my DH.

I've mostly retched, watched TV, pissed about on here, walked the dog a bit, worked (but from home) and grown a baby.

He sounds like a sweetie! Hope he's better soon.xx

And I'm totally telling my husband that he needs to start making me lunch. I truly hadn't thought of that as an option!
Now if only I liked bologna, string cheese, and Doritoes for lunch every day... hmmmm....

Ok so my husband actually does this for me, only we use ziplock bags. I"M NOT KIDDING! If I told you ladies how he treats me, I'd have to sleep with one eye open!

Of course you're a hot mama! But I actually was more afraid of being knifed in my sleep. He's a DREAMMMMMM. But in all honesty, my first was an abusive SOB so I definitely appreciate my new one and tell him that every day!

Ha! If I'm too lazy to man steal, I'm definitely too lazy for knifing. And I probably can't recruit DH for that purpose. So you're safe.

And you must have missed my description of my hot mamma pyjamas: My low cut underpants now kind of roll down and bunch at the waist, which I pair with old tank tops that now show my belly and the aforementioned bunched up underpants for bed. Oh, and socks.

So really, you're safe.

Peanut - on a non-sarcastic note, WOW your DH wrote a novel? Thats just impressive!

Careful with those orang peels ladies... I am not exaggerating that I woke up in the middle of the night last night with my finger throbbing. I have blood under the nail as if something poked me under there! Now I didn't eat an orange but who knows what repurcussions the most innocent activity will have on our poor weary bodies!

And my boss just emailed me and asked me to email someone else about a conversation he had with this other person. He has everyone's email addresses... he knows what was discussed, I don't... I now suspect my boss is pregnant despite being a man in his mid-late 30s... and despite the fact that his wife is currently pregnant.
Or maybe I'm just getting the burden of all the work stuff he can't do now since he's doing everything for his wife?

there is some syndrome thingy watsit where men get pregnancy symptoms when their woman is pregnant. Think its related to man flu.

I have slept and this thread has kept going for a further 12 pages after I tucked in. That is some impressive work ladies. I think you should all have a rest now. For at least three days. Put your feet up, you deserve it.

OMG!! I go to bed early like every lazy pregnant woman should and I wake up to 17 more pages! Uff the effort of reading it is meaning i am going to have to go back to sleep for at least another hour or so. And I have BAD enough day as it is. My DH has selfishly gone to work. He has brought me my iPhone to catch up on here and a drink... But no breakfast! I am now demanding of my cat that she go downstairs and rectify this situation... But she doesn't appear to be as helpful or willing as a child/DH/helper monkey. DH is not going to be home for hours! what do I do?? Wahhhhhhhhh
