being pregnant and lazy

God, i had to get up at 3am this morning for a wee, i was SO tired i really didnt have the energy, but i did, im sure you're all very proud of me!

I am very proud but you should have thought ahead and got your DH to put a pad on you.

I purposely went to OH's side of the bed last night, knowing full well that the 3am pee would come, so I just did it in the bed and moved over to my side.

He can clean it up later after he's wiped my yoghurt face.

first pregnancy around i worked every single day includng weekends up to 12 hours a day, even when i was throwing up all the time.
now im pregnant again still working but i have weekends off and only work 7 hours a day but to answer your question yes i take advantage every darn chance i get. because i deserve it.

Lazy, lazy, lazy *shakes head slowly*

will think ahead tonight because its taking up far too much precious energy!

My lazy baby has moved up a box today in my ticker yay!! :D

Moving to third tri on Thurs...then I can be REALLY lazy.

If i remember rightly with DS even though I was working a full time job and doing my housework, much to 04's delight, I still needed DH to pull me out of the bath and put on my socks and do my laces  worlds worst wife or what???!!

Good morning ladies

Wow i cant believe this thread is still going. and jeso so many posts to read!!

again as i have said (without getting into it too much) people really havent grasped what i have been trying to say. Havent meant cuz u ask oh to do one thing im meaning taking advantage (but anyway dont wana start a war again as everyone seems to be talking about sandwiches, popcorn and cups of tea which is just making me ever so hungry.

In regards to people think this post is directed solely at you. Its not and im sorry you feel that way. This post is directed at "people" who take advantage. Not individual people. In the same way "we" regard people types as chavs etc.

I am only 16weeks and yes some of you are further on, but i will be working 60 hours right up until maternity leave 4 weeks before baby, this will not change.

I also understand alot of you have medical conditions resulting from your pregnancy which if you read my posts i did say isnt included in the "lazy" catergory.

I do think people have misunderstood what i meant and yes i suppose as someone said the word lazy has gotten heckles up. but it wasnt meant that if you ask oh to do one thing your lazy, im meaning if you catergorically order (i suppose you could use) them about.

Im by far the only one on this forum who works long hours and i havent had the easiest nor the worst pregnancy but i still find advantage taking extremely wrong in any situation not just pregnancy.

But anyway i shall let you all get back to your sandwiches as im away to make one now as you got me all hungry! lol

sorry but you just arent being lazy enough. surely there is a manservant somewhere to make you sandwich for you???:haha:

Yeah, we got that.

***********************************************************

Anyway ladies, I slept for 12 solid hours after my exhausting day. I have just awoken and managed to peel the lid from a yoghurt and then had to pour it into my mouth because DH didn't wash the spoons before he went away yesterday.

I will have to sit here now until 5pm before he will be able to wipe the mess from my face and dressing gown because after opening the fridge door and pouring yoghurt there is no way I can raise my arm again for another 24 hours.

im flabbergasted that you managed to POUR something! right i've used a big word now, thats my brain power used for the day.

OMG!!! i do hope you have an assistant and/or manslave at work to do your work for you!

'Because we're worth it' springs to mind :haha:

i think she let him off lightly! DH has to pull me up out of bed, and sort out DD in the middle of the night cause i cant possibly get up and risk the health of my baby :tease:

Morn

If I didn't know better I'd say you were taking the piss since I have no energy to lift my arm.

I dont even think i can manage to move over to third tri...too much like hard work. I might stay here until the birth..or maybe longer. *yawns*

you wouldnt want to have to go thru anything as strenuous as labour then!

Not read the whole thread as it is HUGE.

Some people treat pg as if they are the only person who has ever been pg. My friend has one 10 year old and throughout her 2nd pg got someone to do the school run every day and missed everyone of her kids productions "because she is pregnant and can't come out".

I have four kids and no help since my dh is at work and just get on with it. Even within a couple of weeks of losing Isabella I was because you have to get on with things. I have ligament pain that can make me cry and my pelvis aches so sometimes it sticks in your throat to hear others moaning all the time.

I should imagine that's not a popular thing to say thoguh

That's what we're conserving our energies for. DH's will be more than used to having abuse and demands hurled at them by then too, it's a good training technique.

He's better pack some twiglets for me, I can tell you that much now.

I am still eating my Halloween candy breakfast as I have found I am too lazy to unwrap the sweets and so I am having to chew thru wrappers first!!

I'm feeling particularly lazy today so my husband is typing this up for me while I dictate to him what I want to say, apolgies for any typos, he's making me a cup of tea with his free hand.

My MW seems not to understand just how pregnant I am... got to get myself to town and walk to clinic.... all pregnant ladies should get a home visit ;)

I feel very sorry for those pregnant ladies who don't get to indulge in such laziness as us.
