Belly feels so tight

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and all of a sudden my belly feels so tight, like it's busting at the seams. It especially is painful around my belly button. I get these sort of sharp pains around my belly botton. Is this normal? I'm thinking maybe the baby is going through a growth spurt but it just feels like my stomach my bust at any moment!

Normal. I felt like this recently. Its gotten a little better but belly still gets real tight. Sometimes feels like its gonna explode! But since its gotten better baby's movements aren't the same. Still moving but slower more like rolls than sharp kicks. So I think it was a growth spurt too.

Mine was like this for about 2 weeks around the same stage as you, it thankfully goes away and all of a sudden you look more pregnant!

Totally normal - I had it, too. I look much more "round" now, people say. I've had phases throughout pregnancy where I feel like I'm just going to explode, so I'm expecting more! Its a delight! :wink:

I had this too.... It calmed down after a week or so and then suddenly I didn't just look pregnant, I looked.... PREGNANT! If that makes sense!!
