Benefits after giving up work?

Due to personal and family circumstances, I will be finishing work in December.

I have a 6 month old, and a minor disability (I recieve the lower rates of DLA).
What other benefits will i be eligable for???

I'm not entirely sure as I've never been on them but i know that you will get income support and also your OH will have to pay maintainance.

Income support, child tax credit and housing benefit. You don't HAVE to receive child support though, I only receive child support from Aimee's dad and none of the benefits care about me not getting anything from Jason's dad.

you won't get disability premium from other benefits b/c you're only on low rate... if you were on medium/high for care and mobility then you're eligible for disability premium with tax credits/housing benefit and or income support depending on which one you claim.
That's why dla only give you low rate for you7r first claim! If your disability is so that you need to claim for more then you get other benefits off the back of it.

Oh i wish they gave me the lowest rate to start with Gemie. My doctors f*ked up my application so they move me down- not impressed!
