I would really like you ladies to give me your opinion. I am trying to find the best book on infertility out there. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance:hugs:

I have loads but my favourite is The Infertility Cure by Randine Lewis - I think that's right! (am moving hosue so it's packed and I can't check it) but it's really useful and gives ideas on natural therapies and remedies to help alongside conventional meds. x

Taking charge of your fertility.. i've heard is good.
I never read books about infertility. I don't like to dwell on the negatives I guess.

Hi - i really liked 'A Few Good Eggs' by Julie Vargo and Maureen Regan. I came across it in a shop by accident (it was actually in the wrong section) just after i got told I had DOR so I saw it as a sign that i was supposed to read it!!!! The authors aren't doctors -just two women who have been through it all. So it's written in a v personal, 'girlfriend-to-girlfriend' type way.

Hi

Infertility for Dummies. I found it quite informative without all the medical language babble. You also get the Fertility and the Pregnancy for Dummies.

It's from the For Dummies series of books but it doesn't mean your a dummy though. LOL

The new Zita West book, Zita Wests guide to fertility and assisted conception. Covers everything from treatments to nutrition. I recommend it.

I agree with caline, the zita wests books are great. I picked one up in the oxfam bookshop!

I agree with Caline and Fluffy, the Zita West book is brilliant and has really helped me. I wish I'd bought it once earlier.

ooh I have PCOS for Dummies - brilliant! (although strictly speaking bar the first 2 chapters should be called "GI Diet For Reluctant Dummies")

I give another vote for the new Zita West Book: Guide to fertility and assisted conception. Bought it the other day on the back of this recommendation. Only half way through, but I really like that she covers conventional medicine with alternative therapies. Very pragmatic and common sense approach.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I have never heard of Zita West before. Maybe because I am from the States. I think I am going to go with her book because so many of you recommend her. Thanks again:hugs:

Would def get a Zita West book. There are loads on amazon if you cant find them in bookshops in the states.

fluffy xx
