Best formula to use? UK

Hi ladies

My LB is 16 weeks old and was changed from cow and gate to nutramigen at 8 wks old due to a suspected cows milk allergy which turned out to be an infection. My paediatrician now wants to try him on normal formula again to see if it was just an infection or if he does actually have an allergy.

I thought it would be a good chance to try a different formula as with cow and gate, every nappy was pooey and they were very wet and sometimes oily even before the infection.

Can anyone recommend a good formula?

Before my little girl got reflux we found Hipp Organic really good we changed from Aptamil as it was giving her stomach ache and bad trapped wind...

On comfort milk now, SMA Comfort with reflux meds x

We used SMA Gold from a couple of days old. I did try her a couple of times with Cow and Gate but it gave her dreadful diarrhoea. We havent had any problems at all with SMA.

My girly was diagnosed with cowsmilk intolerance too. It also cleared itself up (or rather it was never that in the first place and the doctor got it wrong!) I switched her onto hipp organic and all has been fine (bowel wise, taste wise and weight wise!!)

Thanks Bunnikins, is that the Hipp that has now changed to combiotic?
