FF can be pretty darn confusing! :dohh: There are so manny ways of doing things and everyone does it all differently!

Anyone else get a bit  over FF and ways which everything should be done?!

am just starting to FF and yes, I'm at a complete loss! Don't think it helps that midwifes etc are so hellbent on getting you to breastfeed they're not interested in helping you FF! In some areas they're actually banned from telling you how to do it!!!

Yes its a nightmare. The safest way to do it is to follow the world health organisations recommendations. https://www.fao.org/ag/agn/agns/files/PIF_Bottle_en.pdf

Its got even more complicated for me now as little girl has severe colic so she has been put on colic drops which you have to put in warm formula but you then have to leave it for half an hour shaking it frequently which means waking up through the night 30 minutes before a feed!

I've been really lucky with my midwife, she was excellent! The midwives in the hospital though were a different story and I lost my patience with them in there and gave them what for :growlmad:

Oh no, that must be such a pain! What would they have given her if you were breastfeeding as you couldn't wait for half hour and mix that up! :dohh: Surely there has to be an easier way for your LO?! I hope that after all that, it works for her, at least then it's worth it :flower:
