BF and Medication

Hey guys and gals...Now, before I fell pg with LO, I had an op booked on my knees, and of course, being pg, they couldn't do it, and they saud to ring them back after I've stopped BF to get it rescheduled...but th\t's not gonner be for a while. I now hurt constantly, and really really really need some good painkillers back, I used to be on Ibuprofen and Paracetamol, both very high doses daily, but I can't take them while BF, can I? Normal paracetamol doesn't really do diddly...it's just getting too much now...I really really really hurt!! Anyone have a similar situation solved in which I can copy them?? x

I have been on high dose Ibuprofen for a tooth problem as well as vicoden for my back, both prescribed whilst Ive been breastfeeding

I would make sure your doctor knows you are taking them though in case you develop stomach problems like an ulcer
