Hi, my 1 month old has terrible trapped wind. It's worse in early evening but it also wakes him about 530 every morning. I burp him after every feed and will always get some out, he breaks wind a lot especially when laying flat.

Any ideas of what else I can try??? I have given in and bought infacol to give him but if I can do something non medication related I would prefer. Could it be something I am eating????

Thanks

In my experience some babies are just windier, my lo was and he grew out of it. Well, he is still very windy but it doesn't bother him anymore.

Infacol worked for us to help with his discomfort so give it a try.

Feeding my little one with her sat upright on my lap has helped her -she'll often unlatch and burp and then relatch without the need for winding. Of course this position she means she has to work harder so she isn't always keen.
