hi ladies - I've been bf for just over 8 wks but have had so many problems and am contemplating switching to ff as I think it's now stressing me and baby too much. I have heard or read that ff babies can suffer from worse sickness than bf babies (???) Holly already suffers from quite bad sickness and I'm just a bit worries that switching will make it even worse. Does anyone have any experice or advice - much appreciated. Thanks Vix

I breastfed my little boy for 13 weeks and then started to switch to formula. He is also quite a sicky baby. Since he has been on formula his sickiness is the same if not a bit better than what it was when I breastfed him

I wouldn't worry about the switchover, I have found feeding much easier since switching to formula. I had a few problems breastfeeding my LO, one of which involved bad mastitis and a abscess in my breast which was sooo painful and horrible!
Formula feeding takes a bit of getting used to at first but once you have a routine it makes life a bit easier

Hope this helps :hugs:

Thanks Lozziepop - that's reassuring to hear! I think I need to focus on the pros of ff if I'm going to manage the switch ... glad things are going well for you both now, bf really is hard isn't it?! Vix
