That's pretty early for gender US, isn't it?! I'm not due mine until 20weeks at the end of Jan - darn NHS!

It wasn't specifically a gender scan. It was checking for anomalies, but he was able to see in any case. I don't think they generally do a scan that's specifically to check gender here.

I have to say, there are many things I dislike about this country, some aspects of the healthcare service included, but the pregnancy care on the whole is one thing I'm definitely happy with.

Ah I see! Same here then, the 20 week scan is the anomaly scan but they tell you the gender if you want.
