BFP after Clomid, Ladies????

I was only on 50mg of clomid for one cycle and am pregnant with fraternal twins....and I had never done any other fertility tx to that prior

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Did you use a triggor shot during O?

I am 31 and no I didn't use any type of trigger shot. Just took the clomid days 5-9 then used OPKs and BD every other day from Cd10-16 although I know I ovulated on CD14. My clomid cycle was unmonitored as well. I have a NP friend who prescribed it to me.

Hello!

I got pregnant on my 3rd cycle of clomid 100mg. I've had irregular periods all my life and tried for about 18 months before my doc prescribed it to me.

I have to wait till my 12th week to found out if it's twins. I'm excited!... and terrified at the same time lol I hope everything goes well.

This little one is my second cycle of clomid. We tried for 4 years total before seeking some help. I did one clomid cycle last November that failed and then moved across the globe. we went naturally for 5 months after that, hubby deployed and came home, and then we got a new fertility specialist. He recommended we do clomid and the trigger shot (hcg) and we caught right away with that. We found out yesterday there was only 1 little baby growing in there :)

I got my BFP on my 2nd round of Clomid 100mg. I was put on clomid because I had a D&C in July and the dr wanted to jump start my ovulation. I do ovulate on my own and always have but my dr and I have come to the conclusion that I am only fertile a couple months out of the year because I have had 4 pregnancies during the same time of the year, even after trying form 8 months. So she put me on clomid so I could get preggers during an off time of year for me and IT WORKED!!! EDD June 24th. My first ultrasound is Nov 15th and we will find out if it is twins or not. I am completely happy with just one baby but if there are 2, I think I will do a back flip in the office. I am so excited. I hope all works out for you.

Just a little advice about clomid. Take it at night. That will help with most of the side effects like cramping, nausea, hot flashes and moodiness. These dont happen in all women but the first round for me, I took it in the morning and the side effects were pretty bad but the 2nd round, I took them at night and the side effects were almost non-exist.

Good Luck and lots of :dust:

Thanks and congrats ladies!

Praying41more- Thanks a bunch for the advice.

I just got back from the doc's office and I'm so excited because he's more than likely going to put me on clomid! yay! He's just going to check my blood. He's also concerned about my prolactin levels & fibroid cysts so I'm also scheduled for a u/s and maybe talk about removing them. Oh yea... and hubby has to get his "boys" checked. So, excited! Thanks again ladies!
