BFP at 12DPO after 6 Years TTC

OMFG is all I can say! On my second round of Clomid at 75mg day 2- 5 had my progesterone results back and they were at 50 (uk measurements) Fertility specialist said, thats ok but we will increase to 100mg next cycle as we like to see them a bit higher! well tested at 10 DPO again at 11DPO :BFN: so went out last night and a few ( quite a few) drinks with my friends and DH. woke this morning feeling a bit sick and crampy and thought oh what the hell ill test and OMFG very very very faint so thought it was an evap so did it again a few hours later still there very faint and well still not convinced so I went out and bought a CB digi and its official im 1-2 weeks, very early I know and all sorts could go wrong, but after 6 years of TTC and 2 medciated cycles the fact I have at least got a is a milestone in itself! not sharing the news with anyone other than my Hubby till 12 weeks ( if we can ) just to make sure! But knew I had to post on here as Im totally freaked! and as a boost for those who are still TTC, keep trying don't give up hope xxxx

Honestly im overweight ( i have lost 3 stone to be prescribed clomid have pcos over 30 and I thought it was never gonna happen! keep hanging in there xxxx

WOOOW 3 stone is alot of weight to lose well done

I to need to lose roughly 3 stone as im 13 stone and nhs wont do IVF unless my bmi is 29 or less (off to the gym LOL)

6 years is such a long time sometimes i just feel like giving up but its storys like urs that make me be more positive and have that bit more hope that mirales do and can happen to eny1.

Enjoy every bit of ur pregnancy hun you deserve it so much

oh hun i know it is so hard to lose the weight, Ijoined slimming world and did 3 lots of exercise classes a week from June to october and it fell off xxxx

You have done realy well to lose 3 stone in 4 months that is a great achievement.

I have struggled to lose weight as i have pcos and have done loads of diets and nothing has worked (even though i dont eat much enyway)
I signed up for the gym yesterday so hopefully i will have more luck in loosing those extraaaaaaaaa pounds lol

Maybe the weightlose will also help me fall pregnant naturaly but then again i was 10st when i started trying and never fell pregnant.

Did you just take clomid or did u take vitamins, opks etc.

clomid and opks and followed the SMEP plan, and thats it, for the first two months i took folic acid and eve primrose oil, but I ran out and never bothered this month, sometimes I think we get to stressed with it all xxx

same as me my BMI is 33 and needs to b under 30 to have IUI and IVF
