BFP's then BFN's..what the heck!!?

Ok ladies...really needing some input for my sanity. Yesterday I tested with FMU on a $test and got a faint . I didn't believe my eyes so I went and bought a Clear Blue Digital - it said NOT PREGNANT (but it wasnt FMU). So I tested again last night around 6pm with a Walmart Equate test and OMG faint BFP again...this time immediately and I didn't have to wait 3 mins...I went out and bought a gift to give my husband to announce the news and everything....then this morning...... 3 BFN's with FMU. Could it have been possible to getTWO false positives or evaps in one day? I almost wish I never tested as AF isn't due until Friday...now I'm worried it may have been a chemical pregnancy. Has anyone had this happen??

Hmm. The BFN on the digi was likely bc the digitals are less sensitive (need higher hcg in urine to get pos), and the $ store one was prob pretty sensitive. Since you got BFP-BFN-BFP-BFN, I dont think it's likely to be a chemical. Rather Are you using all different tests ? Diff tests have different sensitivities and reliabilities.

What dpo are you? I would wait 2 more days, if not 3, allow any hcg to double, then test again with FMU. that should give you a better idea.

Thanks for responding...what an emotional rollercoaster! I'm 12 DPO. This morning I got a BFN on the $ test as well...I am trying to tell myself that it's not over yet...to wait (like you said) and test again.

That is horribly irritating but I have to say that sometimes those digital tests detect higher amounts of hcg so that's why it might not have worked. The non-digital tests can be designed for lower amounts so you definitely still could have a BFP! I just don't think they were evap lines. I don't think evap lines come up that quickly. I know it's torture but wait a day or until Friday and test again.

I just dont get why i had 3 BFN's this morning...and af far as AF...this has been such a different cycle for me...weird dreams, a lot more CM than normal, cramps almosfor almost 2 weeks straight and lots of heartburn (which i never get)...bb's are sore but they are always sore right before so I am thinking only time will tell(which i had done my temps this month) Everyone keeps telling me to "stop trying"...how do you ladies keep positive for so long!? I've only been at it for 6 months lol

FTR I had -every- sign that AF was on her way when I got my BFP, so don't let that make you feel like your out!

Yes- I would definately wait a couple days... It felt like my heart had been ripped out when I saw all those bfn's this morning. I'm trying to be strong and not test again until Friday or Saturday. Did youtest this morning?

No, I'm waiting, well trying to wait, until friday. I'm scared to test again. Starting to think maybe it was my imagination playing tricks on me!

Im dealing with exact same thing i had a faint $ tree bfp...then a bfn cb digital at 12 dpo...14dpo i had faint bfp cvs brand and 6 hrs l8ter bfn....i know im pg...my boobs hurt .blue veins mappin on them...back ache like I've never had in my life and I'm 2 days late...I'm never late....my fear is its a chemical pg....let us know your turn out..I'm goin to test Friday if I don't miscarry before then

I hope it's not a chemical (for both of us)! I'm still not late but it's really getting to me. I broke down and tested AGAIN this afternoon and got BFN on FRER...why do i do it to myself...why do we pee on sticks when we KNOW we shouldn't!!? LOL Keep me posted Tara....FX for you!
