So I was told at my dating scan that I have a bicornuate uterus (heart shaped) and also had a subchorionic hematoma (reabsorbed as far as I know). But the doc (switched to a midwife now) never told me anything about it. When I saw my midwife, she was surprised that I made it to 38w3d with my DD and that she was a perfect weight and length.

Was wondering if anyone else has a bicornuate uterus???

I have a bicornuate uterus, I believe a lot of women do. The important thing to know is how misshapen is it. I was told that mine is just slight so it shouldn't cause any issues for me.

mine is only slight i have had 4 pregnancy's last over term
1 at 38weeks
1 baby iugr 39 weeks
and pregnant again with sga

xx

The ultrasound tech never told me anything about it, other than it was heart shaped, because he wasn't allowed to, which irritates me. But my midwife seemed shocked when she saw on my files that my first child was to term and perfectly healthy.
