big placenta..problem?

Im 15 weeks, i have just got back from a scan, at my 12 week scan there was a high NT fold, so had further testing done, thank god the results came back clear. so today had to go and check baby's heart was ok, it is on my note the OB has written that my placenta is big, she ddint actually mention it to me.. so just wondering is a big placenta bad, will it cause a problem, or as im only 15 weeks will time tell?

I was never told during my pregnancy but my OB commented post birth, while examining it, that the placenta was big (it weighed more than 3lbs). I had an 8.5-lb baby. From what I've heard a big placenta simply means you have a big baby.
