I've looked online for some help but I can't find anything 😔

Does anyone know if, when you are assessed for a birth centre, do they go by your pre-pregnancy bmi or pregnant bmi? My local one has to be below 35 and at booking it was 33.4, now it's 36 something. I've only put on 15lb with no issues, no diabetes or anything. I'm desperately hoping for the centre and a water birth. It's been my dream all along :(

Booking bmi, as long as you are mobile and can get in and out of a pool then a raised bmi shouldn't exclude you from using a birth centre x

thanks girls!

I came back to update that it is your booking bmi they go by. So if any ladies are worried about not being able to have a water birth or get into a centre, they go by your pre baby bmi :) So excited now!

Once you are pregnant your bmi can't really be calculated.... Its a load of rubbish anyway, good luck hope you get the birth you want xxx

Thanks Jess :)
It's still so far so good, the last month just seems to drag!
