My theory about the journey through pregnancy!!
I havent had my June bud yet! but this is my vision of it all!!!
It feels like a giant, exciting, long awaited holiday!
The lead up to the EDD - the long awaited, yet exciting time!!
The scans/appointments - like going on the internet and looking through pictures of where you will be staying and getting excited, reading reviews, doing research about activities in the area, etc.
The few weeks just before DD - like packing and getting nervous as well as excited (Packing hospital bags and shopping for new clothes! nervous about flying on a plane
which i dont like doing, excited about actually going on holiday)
The DD - arriving at the airport (hospital)
Labour - the waiting in the airport (hospital) and the flight!
Pushing - Landing, waiting for the bump on the floor!!
Afterbirth/Placenta - Collecting your luggage!!!! (you know the journey is over but you still have to do this one last thing!!)
The baby - The long awaited holiday that you can finally enjoy properly!!!
A bit strange i know, but it really makes me feel alot better about giving birth!!!! anyone else got a way of looking at birth and the journey or am i just really strange?!!
