Bit of a scare today...

Had a bit of a scare today. Went to the dr's appointment and when he went to find the hb he couldn't at first. He said just a minute and left the room and came back with another doppler. When he tried the second time he found it right away. Needless to say my heart was in my chest and I kept saying to myself "please not again, not again." Scared the living hell out of me. I'm still a little shook up even though he found it right away with the other one. He said the first one was not working properly.

Omg Mel....you poor thing. I can only imagine. But thank goodness everything turned out ok!! Tell them to always use a NEW doppler on you!!!

How stressful, poor you. Hope you had a nice cup of tea to calm down afterwards (times like that I always wish could have a stiff whiskey, but tea is the only option now sadly!)

Thanks ladies! It brought back so many memories of losing Devin that even after hearing the hb I still felt really shook up because it was in the very same room I found out Devin had passed away. It was like history was repeating itself

The dr. is so awesome though. He said "don't worry you're pregnancy is going so very well." I almost cried when he said that I really hope it stays that way.

It's tough going back to those same rooms isn't it? I'm not sure I will ever look at my docotor's office or the ultrasound room the same again. I nearly had a panic attack going back in after my first loss. Then I got ok, but then lost the second time....now I will need someone to push me in this time!

Oh darling, how horrible! I would of been a mess even after the good news. Those rooms hold too many bad memories as it is. So glad everything is okay
