Hi ladies! Just had a question about a bladder issue I'm having.
So, when I gave birth DS I had issues for about two weeks when I lost all feeling in my bladder and would just out of no where pee on myself and I couldn't stop once it started! I sent to the doctors and they said my levels were working and they worried my bladder might have fallen. Eventually it stopped and myself being ignorant I never went back. I had a new baby and just didn't think it was important. Now that I'm pregnant it's happening again! Not every time, but at least once a month.
My kegels are so weak I'm almost thinking I should request a c-section! Does anyone have any advice or thoughts on what this might be? I'm going to the doctor again next Tuesday and I plan to ask her, but is this normal? Should I be concerned? My aunt had her bladder fall and had to get a tack.

It wouldnt hurt to get it looked at...i have read up though that often you can have bathroom issues for a bit after giving birth. Some go through the pains of not being able to poop for some time, while others deal with lack of bladder control which i believe is part reason why some wear adult diapers for a while after.

I would definitely go to a specialist. Keep working on keagles and Google pregnancy pelvic floor exercises. There are muscles down there that need to be kept strong to function properly. I wish you good luck with this, two of my friends had fallen bladders after their kids, it's not fun.

Really? My NP said it wasn't normal.
