hi i went for a re scan today and they found a heart beat and fetak pole which they didnt last week which is good but i am now worried as they said there was blood outside the sac ? when i spoke to the midwife she said all looked really well and babys heart beat was good and just to worry if i started bleeding red , i had a tiny bit of brown discharge about two weeks ago and she said it could just be from that , but if this is the case why did they not see the bleed lat week ?
has anyone got any ideas or had a similar situation please help im so concerned x thanks xx

Perhaps your body just wasnt in a showing mood last scan which may be why things hadnt been seen. Its all about positioning with scans and in early pregnancy this can prove tricky. If after a re-scan your midwife showed no concern and the baby's heartbeat is good then I would trust that its nothing to worry about and just heed the guidance you have been given. Worrying will only make you feel worse, try to relax and think of how wonderful it was hearing baby's heart :) xxx

thanks i know... its just so difficult also isnt helping that i had an internal scan and im having low abdominal pains too since the scan its hard to stand up as i am getting pulling pains .... it just concerns me that they tell you not to have sex and then put a big pole up you and riggle it round a lot () it just seems like that can only do harm ??
im allllover the place atm with it

Hiya,
I have a bleeding area right next to my babys sac. I've not seen a heartbeat yet so I'm still rather worried that its not going to be seen on the next scan (but thats another story)

The mw doing the scan said the bleeding area is caused by the sac moving. when it moves the area it was in fills

I up with blood, sometimes its reabsorbed and sometimes you will have a vaginal bleed. She said not to worry if I start to have some bleeding because the blood will be coming from me, not from the pregnancy. My bleeding area had appreared in the space of 2 days and I've not had any bleeding but I'm very paranoid now!!

I know its not much help or reassurance for you but I just wanted to share my experience.

Use it as an excuse to put your feet up as much as you can ;)

xxx

I have bleeding to the right of my sac, baby is 100% ok, and looks like its on its way to being absorbed. Its nothing to worry about, and its all part of implanation, believe it or not

te he i like your way of thinking as im on it already ha x
well i went last week at 5 wk 4 days and all they could see was a sac and yolk but no bleed or fetal pole and went back today and they saw a fetal pole and heart beat so it goes to show you what can happen in a week and trust me when i say i didnt expect anything when i went back so a few tears today when there was .... so please dont worry as i suppose we kinda have the same thing just backwards lol x thanks for that its made me feel a whole lot better and i hope ive helped you too x

Thanks for the reassurance.
I'm not really sure of my dates, they were dating me at 5 and a half weeks on wednesday so still early (altho my hcg was 11000 but thats just something else to worry about!!)
I'm sure the wee hb will be there flickering away on tuesday as I'll be 6+ weeks then :)

xxx

well that really good hcg as i was 5300 at 5 wks 4 days so its real good i would say .... not that im trained or anything ha ...

well good luck for your next one and sending good baby dust vibes your way xx

It sounds like its a subcorinic hematoma I've had one with my almost 3 year old and my 14 month old. I spotted for weeks with both of them and the hematoma went away.

Hey Nicole :hi:

Verver, I have something very similar going on. Started spotting just before 6 weeks, started dark red and then turned to brown. It's been happening off and on since that time. At my 7 wk scan dr said there was an area of extra blood in the opposite side of my uterus as where the baby is. Everything is looking good with the pregnancy so far and dr said it shouldn't cause any problems. At my 8 1/2 wk scan the blood was still there, but not getting bigger. I'm sure they'll just monitor it at your scans to make sure it's not growing.

Best of luck, seeing a heartbeat is a very very good sign!!

I had bleeding outside the sac with my first. She was fine and it stopped by 8 weeks :hugs:

I had a bleed outside the sac at 6 weeks. I had my 12 week scan on Thurs and it had all gone it was also down to the brown discharge i had a few weeks ago.

i have bleeding to left of my sac i spoke to my consultant she isnt worried about it cause it would of been in the report if their was any concern and the songraher would of just noticed it on the passing this was at 5+2 i went for another scan at 6+3 and their was a yolk sac fetal pole and hb and their was still a small amount of blood but their is nothing to be worried about i was told it would either be absorbed or it would come away as spotting x

hi ya huni i am going through the exact same thing here's my story....

when i was 5+3 weeks i had a big bleed it was bright red fresh blood and i was sure i was mc-ing as i have history of mc's, so booked in with epu and had a scan done they couldntsee much however they did see that i had a sac and fetal pole and said to just take it easy well at 6 weeks i had another one this time i filled a couple of sannys and i was sure about mc this time i went back and it was the same lady scanning me and she immediately said i see a hb and its nice and strong and she said she couldnt believe how big the bubba had got in 5 days since the last scan she however also said the there is another blood puddle at the top of the sac where the baby is and i have to take it really easy as that could cause mc......so i was sent away with strict instuctions to rest! she said i ahve a slight internal infection which could be causing the bleeding so i am currently on meds i was told i may bleed again however i am not to panick unless it has clots in it!

i am so glad some one else is going through the same thing as me i didnt think this was very normal the scanner said its not and she also said its ver rare for internal infections to cause bleeding 1 in 100 pregnancies she said. So being a clean freak with 3 kids already i am screwing about the mess as my dh works 12 hrs at a time but i am putting this flubber/bubba 1st and i am doing barely nothing i have loaded the dishwasher a couple of times and put a load of washing on and dried it no hoovering not alot of bending down my 3 kids have been lil stars helping me....they think mummy has a sore tummy and i am not well dont wanna tell them yet just in case ( God forbid ) some thing does tragically happen. x

also i was told it is very likely that the blood will be reabsorbed and it might noe even come out, i am still having slight cramping etc as well i dont think i am gonna be happy until i have seen the bubba again in a couple of weeks and seen he/she is ok and the blood has gone. x

hi there try not to worry to much, sounds as if it is very common for a lot of ladies to hav a lil bleed. i had a bleed at about 6 weeks, had a scan at 6+5 and there was a nice heart beating and sac and fetal pole. and the sonographer said she couldn't see where the bleed came from. but it wasn't anything to do with the pregnancy so must hav came from ouside the sac. good luck chick.. i no its easier said than done to not worry. i lost my lil one to mmc in june. so blessed i was 4 weeks pregnant just 6 weeks after a erpc :O) i worry myself stupid too. the odds are good if u had seen a heart beat so try not to worry, take care x
