bleeding for a month now...

That's AWESOME that it's resolved. I had one from 8-29 weeks pretty much non-stop and had baby at 29 weeks a bit over a year ago. Mine however, was one of the worst I'd heard of.

Hey Moter.

I had the private scan on Thursday and I had seen it It measured 8.5 x 0.5 cms now. I'm writing a complaint to the hospital and trying to get my medical notes changed. So upset that i've been put through all that emotional stress. But the good news is that the bleed is smaller and full of old blood now new. At least I have the right information now to tell my doctor. Over here only the sonographer looks at the actual scan. They just write the information down for the dr.

that's great news that it's shrinking! old blood is a good sign. i can't believe they don't have a dr review the scan pictures. in my clinic, the sonographer is not allowed to say anything about it for liability reasons. only the dr may diagnose and then tell the patient. i hope it keeps on shrinking! where exactly is it located, did they tell you?

i'm doing good here. i feel normal besides the regular pregnancy stuff. i've been doing more around the house and taking care of DS, but haven't left the house yet. hoping that the 20 week scan will show all is well and dr will lift some restrictions for me. my scan is next wed.

Its anterior? Think that means at the front but not really sure what it means in terms of good/bad x

just wondering if they have told you if its on/in or away from the placenta. if it's not near the placenta that's a very good thing.

It is near the placenta but not too close. I think the private sonographer was trying to make me feel better xx

that's very good! it's also very good that the one mesurement is .5 cm. i bet your body absorbs it over time, especially with it getting smaller already

Feeling the baby moving around like a little ninja this morning and my partner felt her last night too feeling great and positive! I wrote a letter to my hospital and they are 'investigating it'. At least if they correct my medical notes then I'll be happy

I was just wondering how you are getting on? I'm doing well. Had no bleeding for ages and hospital have apologised and paid me back for my private scan

glad to hear all is well with you!

all is well here too. I had a little scare around 20 weeks. lost what i thought was part of my mucus plug, with blood in it! went in and scan showed everything fine. had a scan last week also to check cervical length just to make sure that everything is normal. that one turned out well too. i am officially off bed rest now. just told to take it easy. i can even get back to exercise and lift up to 15 pounds.
