Hey guys! I just found out I am 4 wks pregnant if you haven't read my other posts. Last night I started bleeding a little. It wasn't very much and it only did it once. There was a really light red color on the toilet paper enought to cover 1/4 of it maybe? It stopped... later that night I went back to the bathroom and it was gone. I just went to the bathroom now and its back but only a VERY small amout. You wouldn't even be able to notice it unless you were looking for it . I haven't really had any cramping. I've had weird pains in various parts of my tummy but I don't know if its from that or if it's my head playing tricks on me because I'm worrying about it. Should I be concerned or is this normal?

I'm having pains right now on my right side right where my waist line is.

I would go to the doctors and get it checked it can be normal though but its best to let your doctor know xxxx

Yeah both CAN be normal, but you should seriously see your doctor to be sure!!! Or at least call the nurse and tell her what's going on!!! Good luck, I hope everything is fine!:hugs:

I've called the nurse and she's paged the doctor that is on call many times and the doctor won't return my phone call. I'm thinking I'm gonna switch doctors because if I can't get a hold of them and I'm having a big emergency I'm going to be really upset.

Hun :hugs: If you are really worried then go to A&E. I had to when I had bleeding because a doctor wouldn't see me and they will check your cervix to see if it's closed. I really hope everything is ok :hugs:

Hi

I have had a few light spots of brown over the past week but nothing to alarm me.

As for the pain on your right side i would get it checked out at a&e just to be safe.

I had the same pain but on my left side at 5wks 4days and i was worried. So i went to a&e and they ran some tests and did a scan. Turns out bean was fine and the pain was caused by the pocket in my left ovary which the egg had been released from. Apparently its normal for it to cause discomfort.

Im sure everything will be fine :hugs:

take care and keep us posted x

Keep an eye on it as I had the same thing 2 days before I found out that I was positive, I had what was the start of my period. I went through 2 pads and then it stopped. It could very well be implantation bleeding. If you start to bleed heavy, and going through a pad an hour, please seek medical attention. Lots of stay in place vibes girlie girl!

Apprently it normal to have a some kind of bleeding which can be implantation bleeding at the stage you are at. I have had some bleeding at different days over the past number of weeks but usually just when you wipe with toilet paper nothing major - if its not heavy and there are no clots i'm sure its nothing to worry about. If you are concerned contact your doctor sadn they should be able to advise you.....

I had red bleeding and everything was fine but you should get any bleeding checked out. Good luck :)

From what I've been reading some bleeding is common, not to say that it is normal per say tho. If the bleeding gets bad, or if you start getting pains I recommend going to the emergency department. Or... If you find that you are stressing about it, go get checked out, even just to put your mind at ease. They get paid to deal with us "crazy pregnant people" they can suck it up and reassure you. It's easier for them to tell you it's nothing than to tell you it's something because you waited too long to come get checked out.

Best wishes... Keep us posted please.

Hello

I agree with all - just make sure you look after yourself and if you are panicking, please go to A&E.

Lots of love xx

Any bleed is scary in pregnancy, I bled with both of mine, roundabout 4-5 weeks. I was told it could be implantation bleeding. Still, you should get it checked out, to help you to relax if nothing else. I was told the worrying is worse than the bleeding..... hope everything is ok... x

I have a question... I am really worried because a few times when I have gone to the bathroom today I have noticed a light brown tinge on the tp. I don't have any cramping and I called my doctor, he told me that unless I have cramping or heavier bleeding not to worry, just rest. I am freaking though. Has anyone had anything similar happen? I'm 8w5d. Thanks.

hi x
I have been having some spotting over the last few days and it has ranged in colours of bright red to a dull brownish ! I saw the mw today and she told me as many as 30% of early pregnancies will have some kind of bleed. I had a scan and all is looking ok at the minute but her advise was never do nothing even if it is the smallest amount get it checked even if its just to put your mind at rest x

You are probably ok as long as the blood isn't getting redder and you're not having terrible cramps but see someone just in case.

Bleeding can be normal during pregnancy, but I would probably still have it checked out for my own peace of mind. When I went in for my first appointment my doctor told me (I had some light pink spotting at the time) that if I started cramping badly and/or if it was accompanied by bleeding to go to the hospital immediately to have everything checked out.

Hiya

I had abit of brownish blood at 4 weeks and the doctor said it was nothing to worry about because my cervix was tightly shut and it has not happened since take care of yourself and rest as much as you can :hugs:

I ended up going to the hospital because I was so worried and I am glad that I did. They ran some tests and did some ultrasounds and said my baby was fine and saw the heartbeat. They said sometimes they can't explain bleeding but usually everything is fine. Thank you so much to everyone for their support, it's so hard not to be worried anyways though...but I'll have to try.
