Sorry to use that word on the post ( v*g*n* ). I'm almost 12 weeks pregnant and last saturday i went home by bus for my auntie funeral and on Monday i had pain in my lower stomach, i knew it's not normal and in the evening i saw blood when i went to the bathroom. i called the doctor and she told me to lie down, i did lie down all night and all day. My husband drove to my home to fetch me and come back to where we live and went to wee the doctor, so we had the first ultrasound ( transvagina ) to check if the baby is ok. The baby was moving a lot and the heartbeat was good. It's amazing to see the baby moving and listen to the heartbeat. Now i'm told to lie down a lot and rest for 3-4 days and see if i get better. I'm still a little worried because i bled a bit last night and had the pain for over an hour (i put my feet up higher than my head which is recommended by the doctor that it will help).
The doctor said when i'm in 2nd trimester it will be better, but i shouldn't do too much work at the moment. But i still have nausea and i hope everything is ok.
My mom-in-law said i 'm worried too much because i miscarried once, i don't think it;s too much, this is my baby and i'm not taking the risk. i 'm going to rest and do what the doctor said. Can't wait to get to 2nd trimester.:cloud9:

The first trimester is something that sure gives us a lot of anxiety, especially when one has miscarried before. Trust your body and do take it easy....you are correct, it is your baby!

Unfortunately, I have this sense of foreboding with my pregnancy. Almost 39 in April and I am worried that I will miscarry. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage, I then had two successful ones after, and now this pregnancy. I am full of anxiety too :)

Blessings to you and hope all will be well :)

You are right to follow your Doctor's advice!!!! Rest as much as possible hun! x

yeah rest lots!! hope ur feeling ok! just look after u and baby!

I agree with everyone else, follow the doctors advise and rest as much as possible. :hugs:

I'm getting better. i think the bleeding will stop completely today or tomorrow. Now i have nausea and dizzy ( this feeling is stronger than ever, so i guess it's a good sign )
After my husband saw the baby at a few days ago, he's been very helpful doing all the housework before and after work. I know he's tired from diving every day and has to look aster our 2 puppies and me as well. He's been my hero, cooking, washing up, feed the dogs and go shopping for me.
I'm 95% sure that we will go through this just fine.
Thanks for all the support.

When I was bleeding, something the doctor didn't tell me was that it would slow, stop and then there would be some "residue" for a while. I have been taking it super easy, but there is still a bit of dark blood from time to time and I've since been told that this is normal... Try not to worry too much, hard to do I know, and take care of yourself

I'm not worried too much but more careful and take it easy and i rest when i get tired, i've lied down for a couple of hours everyday and i stopped bleeding completely today.
