Bleeding while pregnant after orgasm?

This is pretty embarassing, but I am 7 weeks pregnant, and my hormones have taken over. I masturbated last night and this morning, when I went to the bathroom, I had some red bleeding when I wiped. I have gone to the bathroom since a few times, and the bleeding has stopped, although now there is a little brown when I wipe. Cramping off and on, but this is nothing new as I have had infrequent cramping for about a month now. I know my doctor has told me I might spot after sex, but wondered if anyone else has experienced this? I also had a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday, so didn't know if this was related. (Baby is doing fine, and we saw the heartbeat). I am so embarrassed and don't want to call the doctor unless I have to. I have an appointment already scheduled next week. I am freaking out, but wonder if it is normal? Anyone else experience this?

I had a bleed last weekend after sex, in which I had a pretty intense orgasm. It was bright red blood, with a clot, and then brown for the next two days. Orgasming can make things contract, which can cause bleeding. I have a low lying placenta, which is easily irritated...and can cause a good amount of bleeding. If this is happening after orgasm, I'd cut it out for awhile, just to be safe. If the bleeding gets worse, or pain gets worse, definitely talk to your doctor. Good luck!

I had a bit of pinkyish after sex but not if we just fool around.But because you had the transvaginal ultrasound it was prob from that and is all fine.xx

i bled for a week after husband and me did naughty things. i reckon that was what caused it as we went for a scan and they could find no source or cause of bleeding which had by that time stopped and baby was fine x

But I had this happen this week and wondered if anyone else had Similar?
Had some 'alone time' on Monday night (9weeks preg) and the next morning it was as if my period started.
Didn't bleed loads - nearly a pad but freaked me out so much I managed to arrange a scan the next day which was all fine - say a little heartbeat!
By then the blood had got much less and darker like it was finishing but that's been going on since and it's now Friday. There have also been some clots (more like bits of lining that you might have in a period).
So what now....no more special time with hub or myself?!

Because it happened to me twice in a row after sex I went on pelvic rest until 14 Weeks to be safe. I'd advise holding off anything until you're out of the first tri...just what I'd do...better to be safe. Good luck
