Bleeding

Has anyone had heavy bleeding and still had a healthy baby
i had heavy bleeding at 18 weeks and i was wondering if i could still carry to full term

my friend had a heavy bleed at 20 weeks - she carried to full term (actually two weeks over) and now has a healthy four year old son. They never found a reason for her bleed.

Hope that helps - I had a bleed at 6.5 weeks and know how scary they are xxxxxxxxxx

It really depends upon what caused the bleed. If there's no apparent reason or the reason is manageable then there's no reason why you wouldn't go to term

I hemorrahged at 14 wks 1 day and then had 2 smaller bleeds after that.I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma. Im now 29 weeks 2days and doing great

friends cousin had heavy bleeding right through, she did give birth at 34 weeks (there were other complications) but she has a healthy 1 month old baby now.
