Bliss is launching a new and innovative Going Home Pack sponsored by Fairy and Pampers, for parents of sick and premature babies in July.
Many families leave the neonatal unit after weeks or even months, sometimes without being given enough or the right specialist information about taking their preterm baby home.
The Going Home Pack contains an array of information including a booklet on weaning your baby, breastfeeding your premature baby, financial advice for families and facts for fathers, as well as general information about Bliss. There will also be a voucher booklet full of great offers from companies like Fairy, Pampers, Mothercare and Mother and Baby magazine.
Bliss will also be running an online survey in the months following the launch to assess how well parents think it works for them. Though not finalised on the date of this release, participating in the survey will give parents access to special offers and prizes. More information will follow on the Bliss website.
The Bliss Going Home Pack will be available and distributed by staff in neonatal units from the beginning of July.
