Blocked nose :(

Molly has a blocked up nose and she is not happy about it at all bless her. I think its stopping her napping

Any remedies? Karvol & Vicks are for over 3 months but I dont know if thats just if its applied closely... can we put a drop in some water on the radiator or not does anyone know? if not, any other remedies?

Have you tried a saline nasal spray? That helped my LO

I havent tried anything yet its only come on this morning. Ill have a look this aft if I can get some thanks hun, is it ok for a young baby? xx

Yeah, it's suitable from birth

Also, a hot steamy room (bathroom with the shower on full!!) and a nasal aspirator.

I used karvol on my LO from about 2 months because I didn't realise I wasn't supposed to

my LO has a stuffy nose too

HV said pop him in his car seat, run the shower to make bathroom all steamy and put him in the room for a bit... not tried it yet but thinking i might have to.

my lo has just had his first cold. We used saline spray, we tilted the mattress up with a couple of blankets, put some olbus oil on a tissue tied to the cot and my lo spent every morning in the bathroom in his bouncy chair whild my dh took a long, hot shower! It all seemed to work and he's over the worse of it in only 2 days. Jx

Darcy had a terrible blocked nose at the beginning of the week. We went to Boots and got some saline nose drop called Nasosal which is suitable from newborn. It has completely cleared her nose so would really recommend it!

Summer's had a blocked nose since birth, so can't be a cold, I've tried everything that I can saline drops, olbas for babies, steamy room, nothing works... Beginning to think might be underlying issue. Sorry I wasn't any help!

I swear by calpols nasal spray My LO is always getting a blocked nose and a few sprays of this and shes back to her nomal self

iwsh i knew you could get stuff brooke was really bad last week up all night cause she couldnt sleep with her nose i forgot what a sleepness night was i havent had one since she was 8 weeks.

ill need to get that in for the next time.
