Hi ya!
I have been ttc for 4 years on NYE and at our last appointment we found out I have blocked tubes and also male factor infertility. We are being seen at BCRM in Bristol and our consultant is Dr Akande-lovely lovely chap he is a specialist in our particular type of problem too which was a bonus! So anyway as we sat discussing our options, due to my age we were offered tube clearing and ivf if no pregnancy within 3 months or we could just go straight to IVF. Now due to the fact my son is nearly 7 and we would like but do not expect to have several children we decided that it would be daft not to try fixing the cause of the problem. I don't actually know the procedure or what it is called, I wanted to know if anyone else has this or knows someone who did who was successful? We don't really know if there are any risks as such as our minds were spinning when we were there and we probably should have asked!
Any advice, stories or experience would be good as I don't know anyone in our situation.
Thanks
Terri
