I didn't I never have before I just go by my O date....I guess this time I may need to BBT huh! ehhh so mad that I didn't but I've never had this problem ever before....except when I was preggers with both boys and I wasn't really "trying" it just happened with them. Now I'm kind of wondering what the crap is going on with my body so I called up my biological sister I've never met and she said she and my other sister (I was adopted) had early hysterectomy's at 29 and 30.....I'm 26 so wondering if I may be the earlier one who knows I wish the darned doctor would have called but still no word I guess I'll be calling them early in the morning I was so mad this afternoon at them I didn't call back I had a BREAKDOWN seriously! I was flooded with sad, angry, upset, it was horrible wreck here I cried and cried and now I'm okay again after I ate my dinner!

If you skip a period then you probably hadn't ovulated at all that cycle since ovulation is what causes you to have a period. I wouldn't worry about it though, I've had a 40 day cycle before. It's not over for you until you get your result anyway!

I've never skipped or anything this is the strangest thing ever for me....I talked to my biological sisters tonight (I'm adopted) and they both had hysterectomies by 30 I am so praying I am not following in their shoes. They said it came out of no where and just stopped having periods before they realized something was wrong....I hope they can "fix" me if something is wrong!

You can still have a period even if you havent ovulated. Ovulation doesnt 'cause' periods. It is common to have a really extended cycle once or twice...no woman's cycle is ever exactly the same each month. You may still have ovulated and with all the stress you've been going through that could delay AF. I was once 6 weeks late on my period when I was stressed.

Why did your sisters have hysterectomies? This whacky missing AF of yours mightnt be related to their problems you see.

I do hope the Docs give you an answer soon hun *hugs*

I am right there with you I wish there was something I could take to start my period back....I dont want birthcontrol that will just completely stop me from ovulating.....anyone know a trick to start AF???? I think I may start soon I'm going to clean the house and maybe I'll make it start lol...ehhhh annoying that we cant just go and TTC without a AF to show...grrrr I am sorry Skadi

I've seen a few people say this... apparently if you have ALOT of vit C it will bring on AF... but you should only try it if you know for sure there is nothing in there.

I know the feeling, and I'm only 17dpo. I feel so upset and frustrated and heartbroken.. I just want my period to start so bad! I called the after hours doctor and he just told me to make an appointment on Tuesday for an ultrasound. I am sure it's just a bad period but it's so weird for me I want to be safe. I have this nagging voice in my head telling me something is really wrong, that I can't get pregnant all that....

So yes... ovulation causes menstruation.

Poor you! I was told it was probably a chemical and if I don't "bleed" in the next month I need to go get more information....I think I'm totally not even ovulating! Its just like my "AF" just said goodbye and will never be back. I am going to try the vitamin C thing. I drink a LOT of OJ with Calcium...wonder if thats my issue I'm going to look it up later tonight for now I'm going to the store and thinking of buying some OPK's LOL.....be back later everyone! I am just having a ROUGH time! I can't imagine how you feel sweetie. BABYDUST TO ALL! I am still going to BD a lot so hopefully I some reason may have an egg come around LOL.....I'm going on my past 2 day bleed from Aug. 22nd and also from my LMP of July 30....so we are going to be BD'ing A LOT! I am sure you are ovulating... perhaps you ovulated really late or maybe AF forgot what she was doing. I am sure she will come for you still... in the meantime a lot of BDing can't hurt anyone.

ALSO! I just wiped pink and the cramps have gone from dull to SEVERE. So I think she has finally came for me and while I am upset there is no baby this month, I can finally move on from this LONG cycle. (It started July 27th)

I am going to suggest white pants as your solution after all.

Hang in there! We've been on the same ride this cycle so I am sure she is coming for you next.

I truely hope so I haven't had the dearest sign of her yet....but guess what me and hubby just went to walmart and I got my BBT thermometer with charts and then got some OPK's this is a first so I guess its worth a try should I start them now or wait til after my "bleed" lol I am so excited I want to get started right away!

I really thought she was coming but cramps disappeared... the spotting was so light and I only saw like two drips when I wiped and it hasn't came back. LOL Maybe that was my period this month. I feel like I'm going crazy.

It could have been if when I thought what I thought was I only barely spotted how strange and it only lasted at max 24 hours.....then I had brown streaks in my CM....I know TMI but just letting you know since we have so much in common....I'd get some OPK's they are very cheap! I am right here though Skadi hanging in there with you!

Ohhh yea I updated my ticker for the "what I think is my cycle" since I went by what happened last month I figured it changed a bit....sooo if it was I apparently did O when I think this time lets PRAY this worked....if not I'll have to start all OVER AGAIN
