Bloody bridesmaids

wWhy do they seem to think it is all about them!! I have already spent £140 on each dress (Im having 4 in total!) I am making then pay there own alterations at £30 each tho. I just cant afford another £120 for alterations and they get to keep there dress.

Im just sick of the constant texts!!!! "I dont like that hair style!" "I dont want my make up natural!" "whinge whinge whinge!!" None of them have been married before so maybe they dont ubnderstand the stress Im under already but bmaids are supposed to be exactly that.....THE BRIDES MAIDS!!!! ie shut up and do what I say!!!!!!! Arrrrghhhh, Ive had enough of them now!

My Bridesmaids seem the complete opposite. They just keep saying ' What ever you want its your day!!!' It is driving me mad!! I have 3 bridesmaids one of which (best friend) is not back in the country till the weekend (works on cruise ship) and I can not wait for her to get home. I know she will help me with things, where as the other 2 so far haven't done anything other than come and chose a dress. I have even organised my own Hen Night!!!
Try not to let it stress you out too much hun you should be enjpying planning your big day!

This is why I only had one bridesmaid!! And I also had my three brothers as bridesmen - they were much easier to deal with.

LOL other than not doing my hen night I can't complain. and to be honest when my best friend gets home I think she will take over the hen doo!!
I think you should defo have a word with your bridesmaids hun they should be supporting you not making your life harder!!!

One thing they did do is organise my hen doo! Id be glad if they didnt as they ended up taking me places that they liked and I hated!! HAHA!! From now on, all bmaid requests, phonecalls and txts are being ignored! x x

Sounds like a nightmare. What did they organise for your hen doo?? I have organised a night out at a bar/resturant type place you get a meal and there is live music etc we are doing fancy dress to so should be a laugh!!
Just saw your ticker, not long to go now!! I can't wait till mine says 3 weeks!! I am so excited now!!!

sounds terrible! I am having one bridesmaid and that is it! that way we do her hair the way she wants, we pick a dress together (budget is £80) and she is bringing shoes she has at home so it works out well. my friend has 4 bridemaids and is having a similar problem to you.

I feel your pain!
I was having 4 bridesmaids - my two cousins, my best mate, and oh's sister.
But, OH's sister was doing the same as your bridesmaids, gobbing off about everything, including the colour theme etc. So i have ditched her and my best mate, and just having my 2 cousins.
My 2 cousins are 11 and 14 so my excuse was that i only wanted the 2 younger ones as i thought it would look better as we only having a little ceremony.
I felt a bit guilty about my best friend but she understood the reason and it was the only way i could get rid of oh sister! At least she can wear what she likes now!

And now no stress.

Well not with the bridesmaids part anyway!!

It's so frustrating, i feel your stress!!!!

My bridesmaids have ended up with different colour shoes because one wanted flats and the other wanted and needed high shoes because she's short so i found the same pair, one with a lower heel but in a different colour, i just couldn't be bothered in the end, then the MIL started going on about bridesmaids hair/accessories/shoes/dress fittings, like thats the top of my priority right now

It will all be worth it in the end hun, unfortunately people dont like to make things easy and dont realise the added stress they are giving!

Its a nightmare isnt it! You cant even have a quiet word with them cos yr automatically labelled "bridezilla!" Erm...no Im not a bridezilla I just dont want my bmaids walking down the aise like theyve been tangoed with tits hanging out!!! Arrrggghhhh!!!! Haha!!!

Heidi - how long now til bubs arrives? God, you must be the most stressed. You dont do things by halves x

I dont think they understand its not a catwalk show its YOUR wedding day!

I'm due in 2 days! Most of the wedding plans are done now though just little things to sort out, so not stressing too much, will leave that till after shes born then i'll be panicking haha
