there was a tiny baby crying at baby group today and my boobies suddenly went hard and really hurt! i went ah i hate it when babies hungry cry it makes my boobies hurt

they all looked at me like a was a pedo!

i tried to explain that my body just hears a hungry baby it dont care if its my baby (my boobies do it for any baby lol)

they were horrified

mine do this too hun as i discovered at the weekend. i was shopping in tesco and a little one was crying, only thing is mine decided to leak as well. Good job i had a cardy on over my top

I think sometime it can be hard trying to explain things to other mums who have never breast fed, my mum never breast fed and everytime Olivia suffers with wind or is constantly hungry she thinks i should switch her to ff as it must be my milk that is causing the problem .

That is the funniest thing I've read today. I know exactly how you feel. It's totally out of your control.

I tried to explain it to my husband and said to him "Having lactating boobs like this is similar to getting an erection when you're a teenage boy, you have no control over it."

I hate people who let their babies cry in public anyway. Go home, or try something else. But don't just keep on shoe-shopping like some heartless moron. My one exception is when they start crying while you're eating...I've been known to finish my peanut butter sandwich while LO is screaming, or else I'll faint when I pick fatso up!

Another thing similar to leaking boobs when other babies cry...when I hear someone, anyone, sneeze or hiccup, my first instinct is "BABY NEEDS A BLANKET!" I guess it isn't that weird, but I used to be the most unmaternal person eeevveer.
