My LG is 6 months on the 2nd Jan. She been having porridge and things since 20 weeks on HV advice.
Do you think it would be okay to give her finger foods are Christmas given that it's only a week early?
I'm sure it won't matter but I worry as it took a lot of TTC to have her.

I'm sure it will be fine, just try her with things that are quite soft first, like cooked veg or fruit. If it's her first time having finger foods chances are she may not actually eat a lot anyway. The first time my two had finger foods I swear only about 25% of it went into their mouths  most of it got dropped or thrown or smushed up. It's good fun though, enjoy :D

If she is sitting up go for it. We started baby led 3 weeks early. Going about 4 weeks all good. Good luck

If she can sit up well independently or with little support it should be fine. We did blw and started at 5.5 months and dd did fab. If she's not ready she just won't be able to do it, so she'll let you know herself really.
