I really thought it would be easier than this!! I mean Im eating WAY less than what I was eating during my pregnancy.... walking everywhere... really wasnt active since about 30 weeks preg!! And Im bf-ing abit everyday too!!

its frustrating isnt it christine?? what did the doc say?? any reason they could think of why you wasnt losing?! xx

doc just told me it is strange (very reassuring - not!!!) and that i should be losing weight!
i am going to join either WW or Slimming World (slimming world class just round the corner - WW class a bus journey away) to get some help/insipration etc.
i thought it would be easy too but isn't!

So I have been doing WW by myself for over a week. Today I actually joined though to be honest Im not feeling very motivated. Still only down 8 ;lbs, and Ive been working my butt off at the gym. I know 8 lbs sounds like alot but when you have so much to loose seems like very little to me :( I must be PMSing lol
 
I got on the treadmill today. 1/2 hour, 1.4 miles and burnt 211 calories. All done while speed walking...and I probably overdid it a bit.
 
im making every effort to get my pedometer up to 10,000 a day!!

Yesterday I walked back from the supermarket with the pram whilst david took the car...

... and today Im going to walk to my mums (about 3 miles)

Dont know whats going on with the weather here... its gorgeous :)
 
i so need major help with this weight loss thing!! i just cannot stop eating crap and the more i eat the shitter i feel and end up eating more crap!!! hate myself for it, i need to get out of this vicious circle!!!
 
Is anyone else useing the weight watchers website to track there points? I was really surprised how much different it was doing it on there. For example if you eat two weight watcher ice creams thare are worth 2 pts each, it doesnt equal 4, it equals 5.5pts...guess I was doing it wrong before

I didnt think so either but you enter how many you had and thats what it said!! Maybe Suz can shead some light about it :)

We just talked about this last week.... 0 + 0 does not = 0

If you Lets say you get a can of the Progresso soup that says 0 points per serving. Ok you have 1 serving that is 0 points but if you eat the entire can it adds up to 2 points. Weird huh?

OK, for exaple:

1 serving of the soup has

60 Cals, 0 fat, and 4 fibers. That adds up to the 0 points.

But, you eat the entire can (which I do for lunch) I double the cals, fat and fiber. (Because there are 2 servings in the can)

120 Cals, 8 fibers, and 0 Fat.... According to my slider, its 2 points.


Does that make sense :headspin:

Can't your doctor give you a diuretic for the water retention? It's been quite a few weeks since you had your baby and I would think all the water retention should be gone by now.

Everyone is doing so great!! :) I worked out today and burned 522 calories in 30 mins..woohooo.
