Hi Ladies,

Hope your all ok?

I had an incomplete miscarriage confirmed on Monday and decided to go home and let nature take its course (I don't do well on anisthetic) and nature did take its course on Thursday night and it wasn't pleasent (no one tells you that). Anyway I'm still bleeding now and getting cramps and I'm totally uncomfortable.

I just wanted to ask how long before your body started feeling like your own again?

It really only dawned on me today that its hell of a lot for your body to go through, especially when I was only 8 weeks pregnant its a quick turn around time to fall pregnant, bleed, lose a baby and have all the stress that goes along with it.

I didn't have a natural miscarriage, I had an ERPC as it just wasn't happening naturally for me (baby died at 7+2 and only found this out at my scan). After my op, I just had some minimal bleeding and what felt like period pains for a day or 2, athough not quite as painful. I'd imagine it would take slightly longer to feel back to normal as it'll take longer for everything to pass out.

Hello Sarah, I'm very sorry about your loss. I m/c naturally in October. I was about six or seven weeks pg. Although emotionally I took a while to feel like myself again, physically I felt OK pretty much as soon as the bleeding finished. The bleeding lasted less than a week. I hope you feel heaps better soon. xx

hi hun so sorry for your loss, i had an incomplete m/c in oct ,but did not find out until dec and then had a erpc. my bleding with my so called complete natural m/c lasted about 10 days with spotting continuing for 3 weeks,which was horrid, after my erpc i felt ok after about 5 days and then af arrived 30 days after.
i have to admit i did not feel like my body was my own until my first af arrived

hey, so sorry for ur loss, i know exactly how u r feeling, i had a missed miscarriage in novemeber which meant that the time i found out i was pregnant i had miscarried but had taken 4 weeks to come away! i was at home when i passed everything, the hospital dont tell u how sore its gonna be, i bled for abt 2 weeks after it, its such a horrible experience that u wouldnt wish on anyone! i have been ttc a month after miscarriage and got a faint positive yday and i am pertrified abt losing this one too! bitter sweet sittuation!
