Boobs not sore 6weeks +

Hi there
Can any of you put my mind at reast?

I am about 6 and a half weeks pg and have not had sore boobs at all. They are not tender, haven't changed appearance and have not grown.

I do feel a little sicky, tired and am weeing a lot.

When i told the midwife yesterday that I don't have many symptoms, she said 'you have the sore boobs though right?' I said no so she asked if I'd done more than 1 test (I have) and she said try not to worry.

This is my 3rd pregancy and I definitely had sore boobs at this stage then. I am always so paranoid I will go to the 12 weeks scan and there will be no baby there

12 weeks is SUCH a long time to wait till.

try not to worry hun it will only make the wait longer im sure everything's fine!
i havent seen my midwife yet ive got my appointment in a few days time as long as you havent had any bleeding/severe pain trust that everything is ok. everyone reacts differently to pregnancy and i know from my experience (been pregnant twice before) each one was different.
i dont have particularly sore boobs at the moment either they do hurt sometimes and my bras do seem to be getting tighter but am getting mild cramps, nausea all day long aswell as other symptoms!
try and stay positive! i know its hard during these early stages just take one day at a time. you never know your boobs might start hurting tomorrow! my nausea comes and goes i think its quite normal for symptoms to start and stop i wouldnt worry

I only got them at eh beginning of my second trimester.

Before I got my I started to suspect that I might be pregnant because among other things, my nipples were really tingly and sensitive and my boobs were ever so slightly sore... BUT within a week after getting my BFP that had totally stopped, and I started to get a bit paranoid too that losing my boob symptoms was a really bad sign.

Anyway, a few days later I started with the morning sickness, exhaustion, constipation etc instead.

Boobs-wise, other than the fact that I think they have grown a bit (I can only really tell from my bras), I am still having no symptoms. But I have had a lovely healthy scan at 11 weeks so I guess it doesn't matter at all!

I would really try not to worry, I think everyone's symptoms are different.

Ive had two succesful scans (in my sig) and my bbs arent sore at all.

I feel exactly the same! In fact I feel worryingly great today. I had mild cramping for a whle but its gone now. I am expecting to see blood every time I go to the toilet or am thinking there will be nothing there when I go for my scan. Midwife asked me about sore boobs too but nothing, she said morning sickness usually starts around 8 weeks. I thought if the hormone levels were rising there would have been more symptoms by maybe we just aren't going to have any symptoms.

Hi Redbear, I wouldn't worry about the sore boobs. This is my 3rd pregnancy,and I never had sore boobs with my other two. I have two perfectly healthy boys! Sometimes they might get a little uncomfortable - like my bra doesn't fit, but once I take it off (at night!) they're fine.
Are your breast big? Mine are very small ( particularly after breastfeeding 2), and I do wonder if that's why I don't feel so much...
I wouldnt' worry about that though at all, best of luck!

Hello. I had mega sore boobs with my 1st. But with my 2nd my boobs never got sore. I didnt have any cramps and as long as i eat regularly didnt feel that sick either. She is over 6 month now. SO for me it was normal. i remember being soooo worried

with my first i didnt have sore boobs at all till after i had him amd breast fed him this time around they were really sore last sunday and now only hurt a little if touched, i wouldnt worry about it every lady is different and so is every pregnancy have a h&h

i am glad you posted this. i am feeling the same way. i am nearly 7 weeks and my chest is not tender in the least and hasn't gotten any bigger or changed at all. it is starting to stress me out.

other than being extremely tired all the time and not being able to sleep i don't really feel much different. well, i do feel a little sick if i don't eat often enough. and my joints are quite achy, but that is all.

i don't have my first appt with the dr until jan 31st and they don't do the first ultrasound until 18 weeks here.

i wish my boobs didnt hurt at times. i get terrible stabbing pains saying that i was a dd cup to start out with maybe those lucky enough to have smaller boobs get a better deal.i wouldnt worry about it tho its not much fun.

Im 13 wks and Ive not had sore boobs yet. Tingly nipps from crazy horiness yes..but no sore boobs. and I dont ever get sore boobs either

Yes, mine are small after feeding 2 as well!!

Thanks everyone, have woken up feeling incredibly sick today so guess I'm lucky I don't have sore boobs to deal with too! I think if my midwife hadn't metioned it it might not have bothered me so much.

I'm around 6 and a half weeks and dont really have any symptoms so I know where you're coming from.

With my first pregnancy I had sore boobs from the word go and then the sickness and tiredness kicked in around 7 weeks but I know that every pregnancy is different.

I have my first midwife appt on Friday so will mention it to her but I too am really worried that when I go for my 12 week scan there'll be nothing there! I'm actually considering paying for a scan at around 9 weeks as I dont think I can wait til 12!!

From what I've been reading, there shouldnt be any need to worry about the symptoms/lack of ... easier said than done though I know!

Mine didn't start hurting till 10 weeks when I was pregnant with my son.
Try not to worry although I know easier said than done xx

I'm in the same boat at 11 weeks. They were very sore and enlarged with my son, but nothing so far with this pregnancy. I breastfed my son for over a year and I attribute the no pain to the fact that all the "infrastructure" so to speak, is already set to go for breastfeeding. I'll be meeting with my dr tomorrow and will see what she says about it.
