Hi Ladies,

I was just wondering if any of you are taking Boots Mum To Be Plus Capsule vitamins?

I was taking them but ran out, went into Boots yesterday and they didn't have any, so I just got the Pregnancy Mum To Be cheap ones.

I was interested to know what the difference is though, so if any one of you is taking them or has a packet handy, could you possibly list the "nutrition information" - how many mg's of what are in the Mum to Be Plus ones for me? I'd be eternally greatful! :) xx

I take the cheap ones too, I think the Plus version just has omega 3 added xxx

Took them in the first tri, kept forgetting to take them but think they were better than the Pregnacare ones to be honest - they seemed to give me constipation.

I just try and eat a lot of fish and veggies/fruit atm, I don't really forget to eat as much as I forget to take pills :p

Omg Pixxie, the rip off merchants! Charging us a fiver for Omega 3!!! lol. I know what you mean Emy, it can be hard to remember. I've not really been able to eat much since I found out I was pregnant because of being sick... but as soon as I started taking the vitamins I felt less tired, my nails started growing nicely, nice hair and skin! I'd always been skeptical before and thought that vitamins wouldn't really work because they're not natural etc. But I'm eating my words now! I'll prob take vitamins for the rest of my life prob now just to make sure! Love them! lol xx

I took evening primrose oil for quite a while (OT, and not while I was pregnant), it had a great effect on my Mum's skin and nails, whereas it made my nails weaker and didn't have any effect on my skin.
It's strange how these things all effect us differently.
