Boots pull up pants

I bought these today for Aidan. I put one on him & I really like them! But my question is..what is this sticky plastic thing on the back of them? I can't work it out!

I roll the nappy up and stick it together like the tabs on a nappy dont know if thats what its for though

That makes sense actually! He's not done a poo in it yet, when he does do I just pull it off or do the sides come apart etc?

the sides should come apart
ive never tried boots,, but in all the other ones ive tried you just pull them apart x

hiya hun - I had started a thread about this a couple of days ago. I've just switched Amy to pull ups and couldn't for the life of me work out what on earth the sticky thing was for. As one of the other ladies said, it's for sticking the nappy together when you take it off. xxx
