So with DD I didn't have a special nursing pillow, just a regular pillow and that was fine. However, since I haven't really bought anything in the run up to hvaing this bubs (I am having a section this Thursday) I thought I might treat myself to a proper nursing pillow this time. Anyone used a Boppy or a Widgey and have any opinions? Thanks.

Hiya I have a widgey £19 from asda , and honestly it has been a lifesaver !! Couldn't do without it , I also had a c section and helps keep baby from hitting my scar ! And also save your arms from holding baby up all the time ! Best money I have spent !

That's really helpful thanks. I really want to get one before Thursday as I remember last time I was in hospital that there weren't enough pillows so if I'm going to treat myself I may as well get one now and take it in with me.

I have a Widgey pillow and tbh I usually find it easier to feed without it - I don't think this is because of the design of the cushion,as it's a good product, but more to do with the fact I don't have it to hand and I'm too lazy to go and find it:blush:. I do find it comes in really handy when I am expressing though as it means I can feed little one and express at the same time, much easier .

I have a boppy and couldn't live without it. The hospital let us use "my breast friend pillow" I didnt like it as much but now I wish we had it because it was a little sturdier than the boppy.

We use the boppy for tummy time though so its getting used well.

I love love love my boppy. Use it for breastfeeding, also for tummy time, and now I put it around her when she sits.

I have a widgy pillow we got a few weeks ago & I don't know how we lived without it! I don't often use it for feeding, but it's good when he's cluster feeding & your arms need a rest (or to do something else!!) it helps support him when he's on his least favourite side & he latches much more easily (wish I'd had it at the start!) & I use it to prop him up in as he gets reflux & likes to be sat up, & for tummy time. He sits in it like a little arm chair & loves it! Lol

It is literally the backdrop to all his photos & I don't know how we survived the first month without it!! Love it!!

Xxx

I love my widgey pillow, use it all the time
