Hi everyone i was just wondering if anyone has the same problem as me:

we use the tomme tippee bottles and on the box it says from 0+ but the problem is when we are feeding amy ALOT of the milk seems to be spilling out the side of her mouth, im not sure why this but does anyone else know why or experiencing the same thing???

i dont know if it is the teats or amy?? lol

Sorry hun i havent used those bottles so i cant offer much in the way of advice.

Maybe the teats just arent suited to her and she may prefer a different shape?

Hannah had a huge problem with milk going out the side of her mouth when she was younger (and it got in the folds of her neck ). She eventually outgrew it though now that I think about it it could have been the teats, we always used the fast flow ones as the slow ones made her mad

hi, im assuming the teats are the slow/newborn ones-we still use tt bottles but are now using the vari flow teats as elliot obviously is older and needed a faster flow.

but back to the question-i havent had this problem, but it does sound as if the milks coming out too quick for her, she may get used to the flow or you may end up needing to try different teats to see what suits her.

keely.

Aidan had this problem too, for him, he has a strong suck so was taking too much milk and when swallowing it leaked out of the sides.
It also happened when we moved him on to the vari-flo teats, till he got used to it.

We use TT too.
