bottle feeding

hi i have had a baby at 24+5 weeks hes now 36+6 weeks.he is now fully fed from a bottle but he seem to guzzle it wen hes sucking from the teat i have bought the same teats as the hosp use hes been on the bottle now for bout 2 and half weeks how did it take for the to nt suck so fast and desat wen feeding any help would be helpfull

Have you tried feeding him on his side? Thats what we had to do.

Like Atomic said, try feeding on side. My little guy is just starting to learn bottke feeding, and to help him regulate his speed let him take a few sucks then tilt so theres no milk in the nipple, let him swallow then tip back. Prevents the gulping/desating trend
