Is it ok to sterilize bottles, remove them from the sterilizer and then take them upstairs and put them to one side to use with cartons throughout the night?

I'm asking cos my sister is having Elijah Blue so we can have a night out on Saturday-whoop!- and her bedroom is up 3 flights of stairs. When he stays over she prefers to use the small ready made cartons. I just thought it would be easier on her if she didn't have to trek up and down stairs with him every time he wakes for a feed?

Thanks x

I would have thought that would be fine hun. When I go out I take a sterilised bottle and carton with me so I don't have to try and keep it cool. although remind her to take scissors upstairs with her, I always forget!!!

Its not by the book but everyone does it. I do it do I premake my bottles and always have one empty sterilised bottled standing in cupboard by just in case I need it. I do use it within 12hrs tho.

yes u can they stay steralised as long as u leave the lid on them straight away. hth.
