Boys middle name.

We have chosen Nicholas but struggling to find a family boys name that flows. So far the options are :-

Thomas
Steven
Eric
David
Michael

What do you all think? I really do not think any of them flow right at all so we might have to start asking what everyones middle names are lol! I feel like my grandads name Alan kinda goes but I don't feel right trying to get him to agree as both middle names from my side. :/

Yellow bump so picking out both. We have picked a family name from my side for a girl so wanting a family name from his side for a boy. The girls name is after my nana who past away a few years ago and I am really set on it so swapping whos family each name comes from is not an option. My older children also had a girls name from my side and a boys name from their dads side as a middle name.

Aww my youngest is Nicholas! I don't think thomas or Steven flow too well, so purely on the flow of it I wouldn't use those if it was me. I think any of the bottom three work well. Out of the options I would chose David or Michael. My son is Nicholas James, I don't think it flows the best but James is after hubbies grandad who he wanted to honour.

We had a think last night of some more close relatives and added in Shaun, Harry and Daniel too, but they do not go at all either! OH's aunt has been doing a family tree so we may pop round tonight and see if anyone has nice middle names lol! There are a lot of Thomas' and David's thru his family history and many were never given middle names lol! My OH is Thomas with no middle name. Feels a bit pointless to go for a family name as the middle name if we go too far out into the family branches that it is relatives we do not really know well.
