Boys Science Set?

Has anybody got any recommendations for a good science set for a 6 year old boy? I was thinking something along the lines of one of those gross science sets or exploding experiments but every time I think I’ve found a good one the reviews are awful! Ds1 is only 6 but he’d do it with an adult so a set for age 8 would probably be ok too. I think I’m starting to over think it though

My son got given these ones for his 6th birthday. The rocket one is better than the kitchen one but definitely easy enough for a 6 year old whose a good reader to do no problem.

I got the gross science set for ds1 birthday but haven't used it yet. We might do it today so I'll update.

ETA we are enjoying it so far! We've only done two things though

The Entertainer had a load of Nickelodeon science sets in. There were quite a few to choose from. I bought one for a my sister (7) that I think she'll like,they were half price x
