Brad Pitt/double standard

Kind of indifferent on Brad Pitt, but this has to do with age.

The 47 year old Brad Pitt has 3 biological children with Angelina Jolie,
3 year old twins, and a 7 year old daughter in addition to older adopted children. I don't recall his "age" as a father even coming up in the media frenzy surrounding the births of their children.

Of course, plenty of "celebrity" fathers even older than that, yet it is always the woman who is judged.

Because we have an "expiration date" then we are judged... yet men can continue to be fertile for most of their lives... so hey it shouldn't matter WHEN they have kids right? LOL. Truly, it shouln't matter when anyone has kids- if they can have them, then isn't that their choice and right!? Silly media!

Actually all the latest scientific research shows that men are on a biological clock too. It is merely that they don't have a specific/any real cut off date, yet their fertility certainly does reduce with age as the quality and quantity of the sperm IS affected. It is merely that as this is relatively new information it certainly isn't common knowledge but hopefully will be in the future.

Holy Crapola he is 47?????? I didn't know that. I have heard men are on biological clock also and it starts at age 40 so people should really talk about that also .I don't see that being brought up that often .. So yes you are right there is a doubled standard

wow my husband is younger than Brad Pitt! Only by a year but that'll cheer him up he's been feling a bit elderly! xx
