Braxton hicks changing?

Is it possible for Braxton hicks to change how they feel? I've been having them for quite a while and usually I just feel crampy during them and don't really feel my belly tightening up too much. The last couple days, I've been having what I assume are BH, but they feel different now. My belly really tightens up and I have mild pain, but not crampy. Not sure how I would describe it. Maybe kind of like that burn you get doing crunches. They aren't very regular. I may have a couple really close together and then not again for an hour or 2. With DS, they always felt the same throughout my pregnancy.

Stalking as this is happening to me too! With my son bh were painless and didnt get any pain until labour, but now my hicks are actually pretty painful!

My bh were painful and non painful but can totally tell differance from bh to early labour contractions.

Mine have changed also they are beginning to come with a mild discomfort now, stalking x
