Hey

Want to introduce a new breakfast to my LO and need some ideas. He always has porridge every day with puréed fruit which I give him a different flavour everyday. Surely he's getting bored of it lol.

What do you feed ur 8 month old for breakfast?

My LO has toast, crumpets, porridge, Rice Krispies, weetabix, those mini shredded wheat with fruit in or sometimes just fruit depending on what I'm having and what we're doing that day. Hope that helps :flower:

Same as above, plus yogurt and mashed fruit, like banana. DD loves it!!! I usually start breakfast with a rice cracker with peanut butter or cream cheese. You can also try homemade muffins :)

I do homemade mini breakfast muffins made from pancake mix, greek yogurt and fruit. Super easy, and LO loves them!

Sounds delicious!!! Can I have your recipe?

I found it on pinterest, here's a link to the blog it's from. You have to scroll part of the way down the page to find it. Also, I used blueberries without thinking that they would stain LOs clothes, will use a lighter colored fruit next time.

We don't do breakfast every day yet as she's not that interested in food so early in the morning. But when we have, we've done natural yogurt with mashed or stewed fruit (mashed banana is good, as are stewed blueberries or raspberries), mashed banana and avocado on toast, weetabix in a little milk, blackberry or blueberry muffins (homemade, just with less sugar than usual), egg omelette or scrambled egg, and crumpets with butter or cashew butter. We've also done bagel pieces with cream cheese and pancakes, just not for breakfast, but obviously they are usually breakfast foods. I also often offer fruit as well (apple slices, orange slices, fig, etc.) as they're easy.

My lo has a milk allergy and its hard to find breakfast things that dont have milk in them. Even a lot of porrages have milk in the so he has weetabix made with neocate milk everyday but he loves it so i dont think hes bored yet.

French toast (eggy toast I think some call it) was something Sophie liked at that age.

Thanks :)

LO has CMPA so somewhat restricted, however have tried him on weetabix with little soy milk, toast fingers with dairy free spread, mashed banana and pear together.
