breaking past a week!

Anyone else struggling to keep diet going longer than a week! :blush:

I can manage a week of totally healthy eating and exercise. I actually quite enjoy it once I get going. And I feel the benefits by the end of the week.

Then the husband (Yes its all his fault :haha:) will suggest a take away and all my work just goes out the window :dohh:

Need to keep motivated past those little temptations and hiccups!!!
 
I just broke a week today! Although I don't call what I'm doing dieting because I don't restrict anything that I am eating. I am just counting calories with MFP and eating everything in moderation. I do try to eat more vegetables though because I typically don't like eating them. Right now my biggest temptation are chips! My favorite type is about 130 calories per 6 chips!!!! Which seems like nothing when eating them. In order to stay within my calorie range and still being able to eat what I love I just have to grab those 6 chips (making sure to put the bag far away) and eat them veeeeery slowly, savering every little bit. It take me like 5 mins to eat them. This make me feel a little more satisfied when I do it. I also drink a TON of water afterwards to fill my stomach to make me feel less hungry. It requires a bit of self-control and trust in yourself to not go back and grab the bag, but I find that fairly easy as long as its out of sight.

Go you for being so controlled! :thumbup: I seem to let every little thing lead me astray. Need to start limiting my quantities more.
